By accessing or using RateCheck.travel, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or booking services.

1. Who we are

RateCheck.travel is a business name of Fayyaz Travels Pte. Ltd., 2 Tannery Road, #03-03 Cencon Building, Singapore 347720. STB Travel Agent Licence No. TA03463.

References to “RateCheck.travel”, “we”, “us” and “our” in these Terms, in our Cancellation & Refund Policy and in your booking confirmation mean Fayyaz Travels Pte. Ltd. Your contract for any booking made on this website is with Fayyaz Travels Pte. Ltd.

2. Service description

RateCheck.travel provides an online platform to search, compare, and book flights and hotel stays. Flight schedules, seats, and fares are subject to availability and airline rules. Hotel rooms, rates, inclusions, and cancellation terms are set by the property and are subject to availability.

Hotel bookings. Every hotel rate shows its cancellation terms before you pay, and those terms are repeated on your booking confirmation. Cancellation of a hotel booking, refunds on flexible rates, non-refundable rates, no-shows, early departures, and date or room changes are governed by the rate's terms and by section 3 of our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

3. Bookings & payments

  • You are responsible for entering accurate passenger and guest names and travel details matching travel documents.
  • Prices include applicable taxes and fees as displayed at checkout, unless stated otherwise.
  • All payments are charged in Singapore Dollars (SGD). Prices shown in any other currency are for reference only and are converted at an indicative rate.
  • Payment must be completed successfully for a booking to be confirmed.
  • Flight e-tickets are issued subject to airline confirmation and payment settlement. Hotel bookings are confirmed subject to the property's confirmation and payment settlement.

4. Cancellations, changes & refunds

Airline fare rules govern flight cancellations, date changes, no-shows, and refunds. Hotel rate terms govern hotel cancellations and refunds. Refund timelines depend on airline, hotel, and payment provider processes.

Our Cancellation & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms and is binding on all bookings.

RateCheck.travel charges a service fee of SGD 20 per booking on permitted changes and on cancellations where a refund or credit is recovered. Our service fees are not refundable once the work has been carried out. Full details are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

5. Holding a fare or room (hold now, pay later)

On eligible flight fares and hotel rates you can choose Hold at checkout instead of paying straight away. You must be signed in to a RateCheck.travel account to place a hold. Not every fare or rate can be held, and whether a hold is offered is decided by the airline or property.

What a hold does

We ask the airline or property to reserve the seats or room in the names you entered, without taking payment. The hold appears in My bookings with its payment deadline. You can pay for it from there at any time before that deadline.

What a hold does not guarantee

  • A hold is not a confirmed booking. No e-ticket is issued and no hotel booking is confirmed until payment has been completed and the airline or property has confirmed it.
  • The airline or property can release a hold early, or change the schedule, availability, or price of a held booking before it is paid. We cannot prevent this.
  • A hold does not lock in the fare or rate. The price is guaranteed only once payment is complete and the booking is confirmed.

How long a hold lasts

Hold deadlines are set by the airline or property and vary by fare and rate. The deadline for your hold is shown on your booking in My bookings. If you have not paid by that deadline, the hold is released automatically and the seats or room may be sold to someone else.

If the fare or rate changes

Before we take payment for a held booking, we re-confirm the price with the airline or property. If it has changed, we show you the new total before you pay, and you can either pay the new total or let the hold lapse. We never charge a different amount without your agreement.

Hold fees

We do not charge a fee to place a hold. Nothing is taken from your card when you place a hold, so there is nothing to refund if a hold expires or is released. Once a held booking is paid, it is treated like any other booking under these Terms and our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

6. Promotions: SGD 15 next-trip voucher

These terms apply to the SGD 15 voucher promoted on our homepage. Where promotional copy and these terms differ, these terms apply.

  • Who qualifies. New customers only: a RateCheck.travel account with no paid booking made before 20 October 2026, whose first booking (flight or hotel) is made and paid while signed in to that account.
  • When it is issued. After the first qualifying trip has ended (after the flight, or after hotel check-out), provided that booking was confirmed and not cancelled. The voucher is sent by email and shown in My bookings. One voucher per account.
  • How to use it. The voucher gives SGD 15 off one flight booking made while signed in to the same account. It can be used once.
  • Validity. 3 months from the date it is issued. The expiry date is shown in the voucher email and in My bookings. Expired vouchers cannot be reinstated.
  • Other conditions. The voucher has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash or credit, and cannot be transferred to another account. If a booking that used the voucher is cancelled, the voucher amount is not paid out in cash.
  • We may withhold or cancel a voucher where we reasonably believe the promotion has been misused, for example through duplicate accounts.

7. User responsibilities

  • Do not misuse the platform, attempt fraud, or create fake bookings or holds.
  • Ensure visa, passport, and entry requirements are met for your itinerary.
  • Keep login credentials confidential if you create an account.

8. Limitation of liability

While we strive for accurate fares, rates, and schedules, airlines and properties may change timings, aircraft, room allocations, or prices. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RateCheck.travel is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from airline or property operations, delays, cancellations, or force majeure events. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act or any other applicable Singapore law.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The version that applies to a booking is the one published at the time the booking was made.
